ELEDESK ("ELEDESK", "we", "us") provides AI receptionists that operate inside WhatsApp and on this website, answering questions and booking appointments on behalf of the businesses that use our service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: contact@eledesk.com.
Information we collect
- Messages you send to an ELEDESK assistant — on WhatsApp or via the chat on this website — and the replies we generate.
- Contact & booking details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email, the business you're contacting, and appointment date/time/service.
- Technical data such as a randomly generated session identifier, and standard server logs (e.g. timestamps and error logs).
How we use it
- To operate the AI receptionist — understand your message, answer questions, and create, reschedule or cancel bookings.
- To write confirmed bookings to the connected business's calendar.
- To maintain, secure and improve the service.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted processors strictly to deliver the service:
- Meta / WhatsApp — to send and receive WhatsApp messages (the WhatsApp Business Platform).
- Anthropic (Claude) — to generate the assistant's replies. Message content is processed to produce a response.
- Google Calendar — to record bookings on the business's calendar, when that integration is enabled.
- Render — secure cloud hosting for our application.
We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep conversation history and booking records only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see below).
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To do so, email contact@eledesk.com from, or referencing, the phone number or email you used. See our data deletion instructions.
International transfers
ELEDESK operates from the United Arab Emirates. Our processors may store and process data in other countries; we rely on their respective safeguards for such transfers.
Children
The service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
